The MTT Facilitator will work closely with OSC personnel to train OSC principles and techniques in support of the OSC program.
The MTT Facilitator is responsible for the delivery and administration of the OSC training programs provided to Navy units.
The MTT Facilitator has complex responsibilities before, during and after each event that contribute to the execution of training as a Mobile Training Team Facilitator
Scheduling training in collaboration with Senior Navy Personnel IAW current Navy Directives.
Provide training in accordance with established MTT Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), draft input for training reports, coordinate logistics needs for proposed training events.
The MTT Facilitator may also perform collateral functions as training scheduler, outreach coordinator, cost controller, administrator, assignment or event lead with specific responsibilities supporting OSC training.
Other tasks and duties can be assigned as required. .
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years relevant training experience with military personnel or military audiences required or Master’s degree and two (2) years relevant training experience with military personnel or military audiences required.
Military instructor experience required
Training experience with military personnel or military audiences.
Experience in conducting large group presentations and understanding of adult learning principles and techniques.
Possess familiarity with Navy rank/rate structure, customs, traditions, ship types and function, and current operations.
Current active National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NCLC).
Professional experience working with military families or personal military lifestyle experience.
Be adaptable and creative problem solvers; self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision.
Proven ability to work both independently and in a team within a dynamic operational environment.
Ability to travel worldwide in support of Fleet training requirements. Non-local travel may be up to 60% of the time.
Possession of a current, valid U.S. Passport
Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Navy Master Trainer specialist qualification preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities.
All positions that require access to U.S. Government facilities and systems require U.S. Citizenship, and reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations and nearby facilities.
